Cannon Building Exterior Envelope Project

DCAMM is pleased to announce the start of construction on the Dr. Joseph E. Cannon Building Exterior Envelope Project. Some of the highlights of this project are as follows:

• Replacement of the building’s prominent windows in the exterior curtain walls with new aluminum clad, energy efficient glazing.
• Repairs to the Cannon Building’s exterior precast concrete panel façade includes masonry reconditioning and repointing.

The New Curtain Wall Windows with Low-E glazing offer improved resistance to moisture, wind and heat maintaining the interior environment, warmer in the winter & cooler in the summer, while offering more natural light and energy savings. Restoration of the masonry façade will serve to beautify and protect the exposed aggregate façade for years to come.
