Environmental, Health & Safety

The Environmental Health & Safety Unit provides regulatory oversight for all state owned facilities and is committed to improving the environment of all state assets in support of the employees who occupy these buildings and public they serve. The Environmental Health & Safety Unit partners with Facility Managers, Project Managers and Contractors alike to ensure compliance with all state and Federal requirements from permitting to project close-out. The Environmental Health & Safety Unit also has oversight for a variety of environmental impacts to groundwater, domestic water, air quality, contamination and proper handling of regulated material such as hazardous waste.
