The office of State Fleet Operations (Fleet) manages more than 2000 state owned vehicles. Fleet’s mission is to provide quality customer service to our client agencies while focusing on implementing the rules and regulations per RIGL 42-11-2 (m). Fleet is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and efficient use of state vehicles. In addition, Fleet is responsible for preparing an annual report on vehicle usage for the Director of Administration for RI House & Senate fiscal staff in accordance with state law. Fleet’s ultimate goal is to provide ongoing support to state government agencies in helping them meet their motor vehicle needs.
