Facility Condition Assessments

The Department of Administration’s Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) is pleased to announce the completion of the State’s first Facilities Condition Assessment of all state owned assets. This comprehensive analysis included all state owned facilities such as those located at Capitol Hill in Providence, The Pastore Center in Cranston, State Colleges & Universities, Judicial buildings, The Department of Environmental Management and the Department of Transportation facilities to name just a few.

Purpose

This project provided a consistent and comprehensive survey of our state facilities by a highly qualified team of engineers, consultants and project managers who identified the use and condition of each facility and its components, information on the useful remaining life of building systems, identified and prioritized major maintenance deficiencies, and provided cost estimates to repair or replace deficiencies found.
