Safety & Security

Safety & Security is everyone’s responsibility!

The goal of the DCAMM Safety & Security Unit is to ensure Rhode Island state facilities provide a safe and secure working environment for employees and the public they serve. All state employees should expect to have a safe, non-threatening work environment. Threats, violence, and unsafe working conditions lower both productivity and morale. Raising awareness and reinforcing the need for vigilance sends the message that Safety & Security matters.

Best Practices

Maintain an open and continuing communication dialogue that highlights best practices and elicits feedback through active engagement with various state agencies and focus group meetings.
