Employee Parking

Surface Lot Parking
DCAMM oversees parking on the Capitol Hill Campus in Providence. All DOA employees automatically receive surface parking lot access for any of the available surface lots located adjacent to the Powers Building (One Capitol Hill), the DOT Building (Two Capitol Hill) and the Cannon Building (Three Capitol Hill).

Garage Parking
Parking Garage Access located below the Powers Building (One Capitol Hill) is available to building tenants and others as requested on a first-come, first-serve basis for a fee of $20./pay period. Applicants should complete the DOA Powers Garage Parking Application. Please email your completed application to or send a hard copy to:

State House Parking
With prior approval, State House employees may use the Francis Street surface lot adjacent to the Veterans Memorial Auditorium or the Legislative surface lots adjacent to the State House. Requests for use of these surface lots may be emailed to .

Visitor Parking

During normal business hours, Visitors may park in any available city metered parking space. Visitors may park in any available surface lot M-F after 3:00pm.

Accessible Parking

ADA Accessible parking is available in all parking lots.

Motorcycle Parking
In accordance with the requirements of Chapter 201 of the Rhode Island Public Laws of 2012, the Department of Administration has identified Motorcycle Parking Areas that are adjacent to buildings maintained by the State of Rhode Island. Motorcycle parking will be available April through November.
